Wokism. People opposed to current cultures interpretation of what it is to be "woke" have every reason to be disappointed. Meanwhile, people who are woke in modern times consistently want to pretend their wokism “has been around since caveman days,” exactly how long is up for debate. At the end of the day the history of the word is irrelevant as wokism has redefined itself and is attempting to do the same with everything people who bow down to it don't like.
Words mean very little anymore since wokism is successfully re-writing history and the language. Even its own history, remember the famous words of the woke, "words matter," Who would have guessed that only meant when the words fit a particular agenda? Truth is, words don't matter anymore as a direct result of wokism. It seems they've painted themselves into a corner and are too embarrassed to call anyone for help. Wouldn't you be?
Wokism was easy to dismiss at first, it all came off like another trend. I've been around long enough to have seen what it looks like when trends come and go. For example, no one is eating Tide Pods anymore or baking chicken in NyQuil. Perhaps those were simply the baby steps of wokism though, baby steps on the way to walking all over anyone in its way.
Wokism is more insidious than simple trends though, it's taken over schools, is perpetually taking away more and more women's rights daily, and it's indoctrinating children into gender confusion at ages where the last thing they should be wondering about is the difference between sex and gender. Yeah, they're inevitably connected, don't ask the woke though, just watch them and you'll see, their actions speak louder than their hypocritical words.
It isn't just about the gender agenda they're spreading like they do their legs on pride day for all the children to see, they're also trying really hard to bring back racism. It's only existed in a diminished capacity for decades now, so they're getting into the heads of young people and rewarding the ones who fall in line, the parents too.
So there is seemingly a vast majority of Americans making us all look like a mockery by either bowing down to it or bending over for it. Laws and the language of law is being changed to accommodate discrimination and the erasure of women. You don't have to be affiliated with anyone or any organization to stand up for common sense though, maybe we aren't the minority, time to speak up for what's right so we can find out.
Even platforms such as Medium, which is meant to be for writers, writers who might write about what's happening in the world right now, are silenced unless they write in alignment with the woke agenda. People pretend to be mentally ill on TikTok, the hottest trend right now is DID, they fake that and the trauma they allege caused it for views, likes and to line their pockets. Meanwhile people that actually have the disorders they pretend to have aren't getting the help they need and are being made a mockery of.
The erasure of women is happening not only in sports but in language. It's perfectly fine for transpeaople to go online and tell me, as a biological woman, that I am not allowed to call myself a woman. The call me things I am not, which is the same as misgendering them, yet I'll be the one censored, not them. And they are hateful, and they are mean, and they tell me I'm useless as a woman, and that's OK, but if I say, transwomen are men, just like so many transwomen say, I am censored.
No other group in history has received the accommodation the trans community has, specifically the men involved, so "transwomen," most of whom, aren't. All it takes to get into a space where it's easy to pick off women if you're a predator, is to just say you feel like a woman. Meanwhile, you don't want biological women to call ourselves what we are and if we ask you what a woman is, you don't know.
No, I don't think all transfolk are predators. I do recognize a difference between real transpeople and people who aren't though, and so do they, legitimate transpeople agree with me. This isn't hate, this is a clear understanding of the truth, of the actual facts which are only hateful if the person hearing them decides they are. I'm not falling into the trap of speaking "my truth," I always have, and will continue to speak THE truth. If it hurts your feelings, maybe think about why that is and get some help.

Transpeople get an entire month to celebrate how allegedly "proud" they are to be trans while the veterans who fought for their right to do so only get one day and spend it getting crapped on by the likes of them. All the while, they're not proud enough to even call themselves "trans." They scream themselves hoarse to say, "TRANS LIVES MATTER!!!" but are too ashamed to proudly say, "I'm a transwoman." Instead, they want to call themselves women, which is what I am, and they are not, and never will be.
We're all meant to bend over, grab our ankles and accept all trans people despite the fact that most of them aren't technically real trans people. It's a fact that we've made more accommodation for them than any other group in history while only women are being asked to give up their spaces and give up their rights and give up their freedoms. The saddest fact is that transppl line up to take the title "woman" from us but can't even define what a woman is anymore.
At this point it isn't only about rights, it's literally about preserving history. The woke keep clinging tenaciously only to the past as it serves their agenda. Meanwhile, they continue to erase and warp the history that's left in the name of not making the same mistakes again. While they say, "don't repeat the horrible atrocities of the past," they actively push racism and the erasure of women and basic family values.
I'm not a Christian, nor am I political in any way. I have no affiliation other than with all the other fine people in this country just trying to make it through one day at a time, paycheck to paycheck, without getting trampled by a culture that has betrayed common sense and common ground, the latter of which is only fought over once it's found.
Not every conversation is a debate. Not every glance is a judgment. Not every word is an assault. Not every sentiment comes from a place of hate. Unless that's what you choose. Stop it and get some help if that's you.

They fight racism of the past, extinguished long ago, by implementing current racism from their places of privilege. How are we meant to look back and learn from the past? How will we look back and see how far we've come? I can only conclude that is precisely why they're erasing as much of it as they can, so they won't have to look back to their behavior and be reminded of the woke embarrassment.
It’s OK to learn from the past, it’s not OK to use it as a convenient crutch to play fake victim with. It's also not OK to use history as an I.O.U. to appropriate the suffering of people from the past, long dead. It is mental illness to have your entire identity tied up in politricks, race and/or gender, that is just self-limiting. Only people so addled with privilege they can irrationally justify destroying others to uplift themselves would be so foolish.
I am noticing a shift though, a resurgence of common sense. More and more people are going from woke to awakened, and for many of them, it really is as though they are coming out of a long sleep. Foggy at first, they open their eyes to see the world they’ve created and want to do something about it. Want to, as they have always said to everyone else, “Do better.”
Here’s the first step, stop thinking the world needs to change to suit you or that people need to change their perspective to match yours. To sort of borrow from Kennedy, ask not what the world can do for you, ask what you can do for the world. Sure, “the world” is sort of vague, but so is everything else these days. Personally, I'm under no delusions that I can change anyone's mind, let alone the world, I just want people to awaken from wokism and see that it needs change.
I stand with Sanders and Rowling and have been censored for it.
